Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using shield-agent, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.
2. Description of Service
shield-agent provides dispute-management automation, including webhook ingestion, evidence collation, rebuttal generation, and filing assistance through payment-processor APIs.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use shield-agent for fraudulent purposes, to interfere with other users' accounts, or to attempt to circumvent any security measures.
5. No-Win-No-Fee Billing
shield-agent is provided on a no-win-no-fee basis. There are no subscription fees, no monthly charges, and no upfront costs. You keep a payment method on file so we can collect a success fee only when a dispute is resolved in your favour.
The default success fee is 15% of the recovered dispute amount (1500 basis points), unless a different rate is agreed in writing. The fee is charged after the card network or processor confirms the win.
You may remove your payment method at any time. Doing so pauses the ability to submit new rebuttals until a valid payment method is restored.
6. Limitation of Liability
shield-agent assists with dispute preparation but does not guarantee any specific outcome. Our liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with thirty days' written notice. Upon termination, your data will be retained for ninety days and then permanently deleted.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
